Creative, skilled Social Media Manager with an experience of 5.5 years. I blog full time at thecuriousjalebi.com where I teach people, especially in India, how to take care of their naturally curly wavy hair. The blog was featured in Elle, Mid-day, New Indian Express and FWD.
Previously, I was in the founding team of EazyDiner and worked in content, concierge and eventually marketing where I was the Social Media Manager. I also contributed to copy for push notifications, emailers, social media creatives and more. We went from launching in Delhi to being present in multiple cities including Dubai and held many events in restaurants, including EazyDiner Foodie Awards whose social media was done entirely in-house. This experience has taught me a lot specifically with respect to all facets of digital marketing like emailers, google ads, SEO besides social & being able to scale quickly.
I currently do work freelance for small brands that want to increase their following on social media organically with valuable content. I can also work part-time for websites looking to have a blog or to write for their emailers.

I closed my journey at EazyDiner to work on my writing and my blog. It was an incredible journey learning about social media, training copywriters along with pitching in with campaign ideas, copy & more.

We quickly scaled to 3 more cities and I was responsible for creating and scheduling social media content across FB, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Google Plus for restaurants across them. I worked closely with a growing creative team to meet goals, timelines and results. There were several launch events, press conferences across cities that were covered live on our pages along with our first Foodie Awards. We were trending at No.1 on Twitter during the event and we had a LIVE twitter wall.

Since we wanted to keep our social media in house, I quickly learned the basics & took over the companies official handles. From posting regularly, analysing performance to organising events at restaurants with bloggers & influencers, the learning curve was huge. I made social media graphics through canva and created must-follow social media feeds and an engaged community. We also launched Mumbai as our second city!

2014 - 2015
With a team of only 6 members (which soon grew), we launched Delhi as our first city with 10,000 restaurants listed with fact checked data and trend pieces. I learned how to write food reviews and collect and organise large pieces of data.
Right after the website launched, I joined the concierge team to aid and convince new customers who called to book a table & choose our deal. This taught me how to convince, assure and convert callers & better understand what our TA wanted from us as a service.
